A Lynchburg teenager is charged with murder in the shooting death of a city man early Monday. Police found 20-year-old Timothy Antoine Irving dead of a gunshot wound at the Millwoods apartment complex off Old Mill Road. Witnesses say two black males with guns entered Irving’s apartment and shot him when he ran into the closet. Police arrested the teenager a short while later. His name hasn’t been released because of his age.
