State and federal emergency teams inspected damage to homes and other structures after two tornadoes hit Pulaski County on Friday. FEMA has determined that 267 homes were damaged to some extent with 31 of them destroyed. Building inspectors are now working to determine which of the homes are safe to live in, and which should be condemned. FEMA says it plans to remain in the Pulaski area as long as its crews are needed. The inspection teams are sending their assessment to Governor Bob McDonnell who may then request federal disaster aid.
