Angler’s Get No License Weekend

Virginia anglers won’t need a fishing license during the first weekend of June. The State’s Marine Resources Commission announced that state licenses won’t be required June 4 through June 6 for recreational fishing in saltwaters and freshwaters, except in designated trout waters. But fishing regulations will remain in effect. The head of the commission says the weekend will be a good opportunity to discover the joy of fishing and boating.
