Amherst County Investigators are looking for an area man who has allegedly been scamming senior citizens with a home repair scheme. 38-year-old Ricky Nelson Nelms of Forest is accused of driving around the county and offering to make repairs to homes, not doing all of the work and even bilking the victims out of extra money. Anyone with information on Nelms should call Central Virginia Crime Stoppers at 1-888-798-5900.
