LU’s Religion Professor is Leaving

Liberty University religion professor Ergun Caner (canner)  is leaving LU to become a vice president of Arlington Baptist College in Texas.  According to the News and Advance,    Caner will serve as provost and vice president of academic affairs, and also will teach classes at the Dallas-area college.      Caner was the dean of Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary until 2010 when the  university decided not to renew his contract over his contradictory claims about his background. He has been teaching classes at LU since then.
