A foundation that provides financial assistance for the families of Navy SEALs is getting a boost from online donors following Osama bin Laden’s death. The Virginia Beach-based Navy SEAL Foundation says its weekly donations surged about 60 percent on Monday. Among other things, the foundation provides funeral assistance, morale services and scholarships for the children of SEALs.
