Tech’s Medical School Student Interest is Up

The number of students hoping for a spot in Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine’s second class is up 67 percent, and officials are hoping the school’s partnership with a medical research institute can serve as a national example. The school’s dean says about 2,750 students applied.
