Tornado Costs are Still on the Rise

Tornado damage in Washington County in northern Virginia has topped 40-million-dollars.  Authorities say 407 homes and businesses, suffered major damage or were destroyed by storms that tore through the region last week.  In addition, another 150 structures like barns and sheds were damaged or destroyed and the damage estimates do not even cover structures with minor or moderate damage like wind blown roofs or broken windows.  County officials say once all the damage is tallied, it could add another ten to 20-million-dollars to the total.
