Virginia…The Land of Milk for Money

For the first time in nearly 30 years, the National Holstein Convention has come back to the Commonwealth. Starting today, the 2011 convention will be held in Richmond with representatives from over 30 states in town for the next few days on behalf of cows and their milk. Milk is Virginia’s third largest commodity and the state is ranked 23rd in the United States in milk production.
