Liberty University is moving forward on plans to build an osteopathic medical school and a health sciences school now that the state’s Tobacco Commission has unanimously approved a 12-million-dollar grant. Liberty must still match that money and most of it will be used for the actual construction of the building. Most of the programs that will be included in the school are new, including many masters’ programs for health studies. University officials will take part in another meeting on the project on September 29th.
