Car Hits Boy at School Bus Stop

A Bedford County boy was struck by a car Monday at his school bus stop.  The accident happened as the child was waiting to catch a bus to Goodview Elementary School.  The boy was taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital and authorities say his injuries were not life-threatening.  School officials are sending letters to parents to inform them about the accident and to remind them to be cautious and vigilant at school bus stops.
