The Bedford County man charged with shooting his brother and nephew in an August dispute was indicted Tuesday. 55 year old Dennis Roy Caldwell, is charged with two counts each of aggravated malicious wounding and use of a firearm. According to court records, Caldwell shot 61-year-old Glen Caldwell and 35-year-old Michael Caldwell after the Aug. 15 dispute, both survived their injuries. Authorities Caldwell then lit his house on fire and had to be removed by firefighters and police after an hours-long standoff. His trial is set for Jan. 31.
