The Hill City has announced the entries in its “Lights, Camera, Lynchburg!” video contest. Now it’s up to the public to decide which will be the winner! The videos can be viewed on the city’s website; public voting for the “Viewer’s Choice” award will continue until Nov. 11. The award, which carries a $500 prize, will be solely based on the number of votes cast. Funding for the contest and prizes was provided by the city’s marketing partnership, a collection of local government agencies. The city’s website will accept one vote per computer IP address. The results will be announced on Nov. 29 at an event modeled on the Academy Awards.
