The Lynchburg Police Department is once again teaming up with the Salvation Army and Wal-Mart to offer a free basketball program for city kids ages 10 – 14. It begins January and runs through early March.They hope to promote self-esteem, leadership and positive relationships with police. Parents can register their children at the Salvation Army on Park Avenue.
