Congressman Robert Hurt continues to express frustration over what he calls the Senate’s in-activeness. The congressman says the Senate’s over-regulating and overspending make it more difficult for the economy to grow and to create jobs. Earlier this year, Hurt presented a list of measures that the House had already passed but says they remain stuck in the Senate with no action pending. Hurt told the Morning-Line on Wednesday, that the bill items are still awaiting approval or rejection; he says any decisiveness on the part of the Senate would be appreciated. On his website, the 5th district republican says: “it’s time that differences are put to rest and common ground is found.
