Rapist Gets 41 years

A Lynchburg jury has recommended a 41-year prison sentence for a 22-year-old convicted rapist. On Thursday, the jury found Rasaan King guilty in a 2009 rape case linked to him through a DNA match. King’s defense attorney had claimed that his client said he had a secret affair with the woman and that’s why his DNA was linked to her. The victim says that is a lie and she is thankful that the jury did not believe the suspect’s story.
