Those who died in the plane crash on a Jersey turnpike Tuesday were from Virginia. According to New Jersey State Police, four members of an Albemarle County family, a University of Virginia alumnus and a family pet were killed when the plane went down. Corinne Buckalew was a visual artist who served on the board of the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, an artist community in Amherst County was among the dead. Investigators say there were no survivors, and no one on the ground was harmed. An investigation into cause of the crash is ongoing.
