Governor’s Trips & Gift Details Released

Details of Governor Bob McDonnell’s trips funded by taxpayers are coming to light. The Virginia Public Access Project says McDonnell reported close to 46-thousand dollars in taxpayer funded trips last year. The trips were mainly for international marketing missions according to the non-partisan tracker of money in politics. The total is more than twice what was reported by Governor Tim Kaine in 2008.
