The State Fair of Virginia will be held in September. The property was sold at auction yesterday for over five-and-a-half-million dollars to Universal Fairs LLC. The Memphis-based company says it plans to operate the fair at the Meadow Event Park in Caroline County with opening day on September 28th. The state fair will run for ten days.
