Woman Found Guilty To Manslaughter In Boyfriends Stabbing Death

A Lynchburg woman accused of killing her boyfriend last year was found guilty. 26 year old, Lakita Miller admits to stabbing Rodney Lee Phillips, Jr. twice on the night of May 20, 2011. Miller claimed she stabbed Phillips in self-defense at her Old Forest Road apartment and was convicted Monday of voluntary manslaughter. Sentencing is scheduled for July 6.
