Two Owners Possible For Future Virginia Fair

At least part of the State Fair of Virginia may end up being owned by the Virginia Farm Bureau. The bureau is talking with Tennessee-based Universal Fairs LLC to purchase at least a part of the fair. Universal bought the State Fair back in May at a foreclosure auction for more than five-million dollars. The nonprofit SFVA which put on the fair filed for bankruptcy protection last December after it defaulted on approximately 75-million dollars in loans.
