A consolidation of benefits will make health care a little cheaper for Lynchburg City School employees this year. According to the News & Advance, better pricing and savings will make it more affordable for the city and schools. Both have been working on the merger in hopes of lowering costs and to get both organizations under one set of contracts this year. The city and schools are expecting to see minor savings on administrative fees by combining contracts and are reporting more attractive pricing on dental and vision plans.
