High Profile Case In Culpeper Could Be Moved To Campbell County

The location of the trial for a former Culpeper police officer charged with the shooting death of an unarmed woman could be moved to Campbell County. AP reports the judge in the case has set Daniel Harmon-Wright’s trial on murder and gun charges for Jan 22 and will take under advisement a defense motion for a change of venue. Harmon-Wright was fired from his job in June. Investigators say the former police officer was responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle in a church parking lot when he fatally shot 54-year-old Patricia Cook.
