Local Law Group Represents Eugenics Victims

A Lynchburg law group is fighting for reparations for the thousands of eugenics victims in Virginia. The Christian Law Institute wants financial compensation for people who were forcefully sterilized between 1924 and 1979 for being “defective” – poor, uneducated or mentally ill. Supporters say it’s the right thing to do while the many of the victims are still alive.
