Bedford County Crash Involved Tow Truck

Virginia State Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash along Route 460 in Bedford County. It happened at about 9 p.m. Wednesday when an unattended tow truck rolled into the travel lanes of of the roadway and struck a tractor trailer. Troopers say the front end of a car then slid under the tow truck and the driver was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
