Centra wants to build new facility in Gretna

Centra plans to replace Gretna Medical Center with a new facility that would expand health care services in the area.    Centra says the proposed 50,000-square foot facility would provide emergency and imaging technology services that aren’t available at the existing medical center.     The new facility would employ 80 workers, up from 16 at the existing medical center. It would be built on nearly 12 acres off U.S. 29.
