Former Liberty HS teacher’s aide faces sexual misconduct charges

A teacher’s aide at Liberty High School in Bedford County is under arrest on charges he took indecent liberties with a 15-year-old student.  The county sheriff’s office says they received a call from county social services last Thursday saying a student had accused 42-year-old Michael Robertson of Hardy of sexual misconduct last Wednesday.  Robertson, who has only been at Liberty High since July, resigned last Friday, the day of his arrest.
