Four of 16 Lynchburg Schools meet Federal Accountability Goals

Four of 16 Lynchburg City Schools met all federal school accountability goals last year. They were Linkhorne, Sandusky and William Marvin Bass elementary schools and Heritage High School.    School officials say EC Glass High school missed 2 of 37 goals because of a problem with math test participation.    Officials say overall, the lowest test scores were in math.  They’ve implemented a division-wide plan to focus on improving math scores.
