Life Saving Flight For Critters From North Carolina

More than 125 dogs tomorrow will be being flown from a North Carolina airport to the Old Dominion to save the animals from kill shelters. Officials with the PilotsNPaws program say more than 80 pilots are participating in the single-day airlift on Saturday to relocate more than 300 dogs to seven states, including Virginia. Once the pets arrive, volunteers from participating no-kill shelters will be waiting to find them homes. PilotsNPaws flies about 2,400 missions a year transporting about 12,000 animals.
