A Lynchburg man is dead and another charged with murder after a fatal stabbing on Grace Street last night. It happened around 10pm near the intersection with Franklin Street. Police say 39-year-old Mark Augustus Rowley was stabbed in an altercation with 44-year-old Jose Antonio Maldonado. Maldonado was arrested and charged with murder. Police say it was not a random act and the two men were acquaintances.
