Lynchburg Schools move forward with Early College program

The Lynchburg School Board voted yesterday to move forward with a  plan to create an early college program with Central Virginia Community College. It would allow  high school students to earn both an associate’s degree from CVCC and an advanced diploma from the Lynchburg City Schools.   Amherst, Appomattox, Campbell and Bedford county schools already have a similar program.
