Nine historic properties in three counties and two cities are being added to the Virginia Landmarks Register. The properties include a historic district on the Staunton River, a freight station in Roanoke, a federal style house in Halifax County and the Crozet Historic District in Albemarle County. The new listings were approved by the state Department of Historic Resources. The nine were also forwarded to the National Park Service for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places.
