Sentence Suspended For Meth Lab Suspect In Lovingston

A Nelson county woman has been sentenced to 20 years of parole for her involvement in a methamphetamine bust in April. 42 year old Michelle Simpson Spencer, of Lovingston pleaded guilty to an amended charge of possession in Nelson County Circuit Court last week. She was originally charged with possession of meth with the intent to distribute and possession of a firearm while in possession of methamphetamine. Spencer was sentenced to the maximum sentence of 10 years in prison but all was suspended. She will serve two years of supervised probation and 18 years of unsupervised probation. 34 year old, Thomas Massie Huffman faces two counts of distribution, possession with the intent to distribute and possessions of a firearm while possessing methamphetamine. Those charges will go to a grand jury later this month.
