Real estate mogul Donald Trump spoke to students at Liberty University Monday, addressing religion, the economy and politics. During the convocation on Monday, Trump spoke of his concerns about the United States and its leadership. He told students that the world is “laughing at us” and China is taking advantage of the United States. Trump says President Barack Obama seems to get good press no matter what he does. In a speech yesterday students at the Falwell family’s Liberty University in Virginia, Trump called Obama “a Teflon president.”Trump received an honorary doctorate degree from Liberty administrators.
9/24/12: Billionaire real estate mogul and TV personality Donald Trump will speak this morning at 10 o’clock at Liberty University. Trump will also receive an hononary doctorate in business during the school’s convocation at LU’s Vines Center. Liberty University Chancellor Jerry Falwell Jr. says Donald Trump could become the most popular convocation speaker in the school’s history. Falwell says officials expect Trump’s address to students Monday morning to draw the largest convocation audience ever. The convocation is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the 10,000-seat Liberty University Vines Center. Falwell says an expected overflow audience can watch Trump’s address at 2 satellite locations, the Thomas Road Baptist Church sanctuary and the Towns Alumni Lecture Hall. The address also will be streamed online at www.libertychannel.com . Liberty has more than 80,000 online students.
