Virginia Tech officials yesterday ordered the George Allen Senate Campaign to remove all but 100 of its signs that were erected this week in front of the Squires Student Center. The signs went up just before the final debate that was held on the Tech campus between George Allen and Democratic rival Tim Kaine. About a thousand of the Allen campaign signs were put up, which university officials decided was too many. As of yesterday morning, the school told both campaigns each would be allowed to erect 100 signs and no more.
