Bank Robbery Suspect Will Undergo Psych Evaluation

A psychiatric evaluation has been ordered for the man who allegedly robbed Farmers Bank in Appomattox. The preliminary hearing for 28 year old, Ubel Booker-Bey Jr. was continued after the defense attorney requested a competency and psychological evaluation for Bey. On Sept. 4, Bey allegedly entered the Bank wearing a blonde wig and brandishing an apparent weapon before escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash. His hearing has been continued to Jan. 9
