Centra Helps Women During Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. Women are urged to learn more about the cancer and how they can help screen for it. Centra’s Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program was recently awarded full accreditation and recertified by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. As one of the first centers to be nationally accredited three years ago, the program strives for continued quality in providing patients access to a full range of high level care and services.
