Confusion & Delays Expected For VP’s Visit To Lynchburg

Lynchburg officials expect a large crowd downtown to see Vice President Joe Biden tomorrow when he makes a campaign stop at the Armory. Security checks, street closings and changes to parking are just a few of the measures authorities have planned, in order to better conduct crowd control. Everyone attending must have an event ticket and will be required to go through a security check. Signs, large bags, and umbrellas will not be permitted. Organizers anticipate some confusion and delays and encourage residents and anyone planning to attend the event to visit the city’s website www.lynchburgva.gov to be better prepared.
