Convicted Sex Offender Cleared

A convicted sex offender is a free man after after Bedford County authorities say he wasn’t the person who approached a 13-year-old girl at an Evington school bus stop last week. A sheriff’s office major says 68-year-old Donald Dove was incorrectly identified by witnesses as the man who asked the victim if she would accompany him to her home on September 26th. Investigators will continue to look into the incident.
