Exporting From Lynchburg Could Become Hassle Free

Lynchburg is joining an application to become a foreign trade zone and port of entry. According to the News & Advance, the status will make exporting from the Lynchburg area easier by allowing local manufacturers to move products and components without passing through customs or having to pay duty. The City contributed $500 to be a part of the New River Valley’s application; the economic development coordinator says submission has just passed the review process.
