Jaws Of Life Needed In Amherst Crash

Two vehicles were involved in a head-on wreck on South Coolwell Road in Amherst County Friday morning. Three people were taken to Lynchburg General Hospital after firefighters used the Jaws of Life to remove both drivers and one passenger. Police say the cause of the wreck remains under investigation and charges are pending.
