FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: COMMUNITY FORUM ON YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT DRINKING AND DRIVING
On Thursday, October 11 from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m., the Healthy Individuals through Prevention & Education (HiPE) Coalition will conduct an additional community forum to discuss youth/young adult drinking and alcohol related car crashes. The public is cordially invited to attend.
The forum will be held at the City of Lynchburg’s Information Technology Building, 3550 Young Place, and lunch will be provided.
HiPE was awarded a grant through Virginia Commonwealth University to reduce youth/young adult alcohol related car accidents by ten percent and conducted two related forums in the area last month.
