Hundreds of zombies participated in the second annual Zombie Walk in downtown Lynchburg over the weekend. The living dead walked from Main Street between Twelfth and Ninth streets and competed for prizes including most authentic zombie and best child zombie. Local mortician Patrick Hubble says participants greatly exceeded last year’s donation of 500 pounds of food. Hundreds of people dressed as the living dead and walked along Main, Twelfth and Ninth Streets. The Zombie Walk also raised 200 dollars for the Lynchburg Dog Park.
