Man Arrested For Filing False Report Of Bridge Jumper

Amherst county sheriff’s officials have arrested a Madison Heights man they say made false reports on two separate occasions that someone had jumped off the John Lynch Bridge. Officers searched the river for several hours on Sept. 25th and Sept. 27th after receiving anonymous calls. They then arrested 29-year-old Brandon Noel Tedder. He’s charged with using 911 to make a false report and falsely summoning Police.
