Man Arrested For Malicious Wounding

Police arrested a Lynchburg man Tuesday after he sent another man to the hospital with injuries related to a fight. John Brown, 27, assaulted the man after an argument inside a home in the 100 block of Old Wiggington Road shortly before 5:15 p.m., police said. Police said the man’s injuries were non-life threatening. He was treated and released. Brown has been charged with malicious wounding and is held at the Lynchburg Regional Jail without bond.
