The Appomattox County Board of Supervisors has come up with a counter-proposal regarding the boundary issue. The board last night approved sending a letter to Town Council, outlining four possibilities it would be willing to accept to expand sewer service along the U.S. 460 East corridor. Supervisors say they’re willing to consider establishing a public utilities authority to oversee the project– but some council members rebuke the recommendation. The board suggested Monday that a meeting be set up within the next two weeks between town and county officials.
