New Breezewood Apartment Complex Is A Go

Lynchburg City Council has approved rezoning for Breezewood Drive that will allow for new apartments there. The vote was 5-1. Critics are worried about increased traffic and that the project would restrict any future traffic improvements and commercial development in the area. The developer will build 48 instead of 50 apartments as originally proposed. He hopes to begin building sometime this spring.
