Offshore Wind Engergy = Many Jobs

A state gathering of offshore wind advocates and national industry leaders is coming to a close with a town hall meeting on green energy tonight. The national conference sponsored by the American Wind Energy Association brought together players from various segments of the emerging wind industry. A study issued during the conference forecast the creation of more than 70,000 jobs in the Mid-Atlantic States during a 10-year build-up to developing wind farms off the coast from Virginia to New York.
