One Almanac Predicts Snow, Snow and More Snow!

The nation’s second-oldest almanac is predicting heavy snowstorms in the mid-Atlantic region this winter based on the size of a developing El Nino temperature pattern in the Pacific Ocean. The 2013 Hagers-Town and Country Almanac predicts two December nor’easters. The forecast includes 15 possible heavy snow days. The Predictor for the weather guide says the first snow could fall as early as Nov. 28 with the region experiencing snow-storms until the end of March.
