Special Vaccination Clinic Will Offer Free Flu Shots

A free flu shot clinic will be held this weekend for low to moderate income residents in the Central Virginia Health District. The Lynchburg Fire Department has partnered with the CVHD to provide 400 free flu shots during a special vaccination clinic on Saturday. The clinic will be open to those older than three years that live in Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford and Campbell Counties as well as Lynchburg City. The shots will be administered in the parking lot of the Lynchburg City Stadium on a first come -first serve basis and will take place rain or shine from 9 until 1 on October 20.
